Max German Shepherd Dog Adult Male in Christie, Wisconsin

My story
Hi, my name is Max! I'm a German Shepherd mix born around 7/19/2019. I came up to Wisconsin from San Antonio, Texas and weigh close to 70 pounds. I am new to the shelter and they are still getting to know my personality but I've been a good dog so far! I'm a tripod boy as I suffered a gun shot wound and needed to have my leg amputated. Obedience classes for adult dogs and puppies can be incredibly helpful for both animals and humans. It helps you understand what makes me tick and will give me a better idea of what you want me to do. It’s a win/win and it will also strengthen the bond between us!Update from previous shelter:He recently had a left front leg amputation, he had a gunshot wound to his front left paw and ended up chewing that foot due to pain, was then surrendered to the city shelter, where we took him and got him on pain meds and scheduled for an amputation. He is healing great!NOTES:7/15: He was unsure at first, but quickly warmed up. He allowed us to leash him, pet him, and walk him. He didn’t snap/growl (despite being in pain). He showed no aggression at all. He apparently knows how to give paw, he kept trying to give me the paw with all his bones sticking out. He’s a sweet boy.Temp with other dogs: Max met with Greg, Martin and Annabelle and did good with all of them. He was very interested in Greg and Annabelle, he approached them and gave lots of tail wags. When meeting Martin, he wasn't too interested in him, but didn't mind being around him at all.Apply for me today! My adoption fee is $100.00.
